The ability to try before purchasing proved to be a big draw on the Roemheld stand at MACH. Roemheld offered potential customers a week’s free use of a workholding vice or zero point system so that they could see directly and at no cost how it would benefit production. Roemheld personnel were on hand to discuss individual applications and talk through applying the technology within the company.
In addition, the layout of the stand into Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Energy, Sub Contract/Manufacturing and Fixture building and design sectors enabled visitors to quickly find the right workholding products and solutions for their industry.
Bill Neal, Managing Director of Roemheld (UK), said: “The sector-driven layout of the stand was very successful. We also had a lot of interest in our new hydraulic workholding elements as well as the new range of 5-Axis vices and jaws we had on display. We weren’t sure how the week would go with the current economic climate but were very pleased with the attendance and with the leads generated.”
