The new Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor from Roemheld makes clamping errors and operational errors a thing of the past while driving down scrap rates.
This innovative new product automates setting up processes removing the need to manually adjust hydraulic clamping systems. As well as a position sensor, workpiece dimensions can be entered into a control system, recorded and then implemented. The Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor also enables one clamping system to cover large and small clamping widths as workpiece dimensions can be varied without the need to change the jaws or even the fixture. This greatly reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
The high stability of the base and precise zero point position of the fixed jaw guarantee excellent quality of output and reduce scrap rates. The slide position and clamping power can be easily checked and the design of the component offers good protection from swarf, reducing maintenance requirements.
The Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor has a hydraulic double action function with a maximum stroke of 140mm. It operates on a pulling tensioning principle with a long slide guide for maximum reliability.
The Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor is only available in the UK from Roemheld, which specialises in offering a total, solution-based approach to workholding.
