Roemheld will be launching its new range of electrical zero point mounting systems, the SPEEDY etec, at MACH 2014.
Visitors to stand 5250 will be able to view this latest ‘green‘ technology which combines a compact design with a high insertion force of 7KN and a retention force of 38 KN. The SPEEDY etec is compatible with existing Roemheld hydraulic and pneumatic workholding systems and offers high precision alongside low power consumption. Third hand function (DHF) ensures all positions can be adopted without modification.
The SPEEDY etec is an extermely safe zero point system as it offers a varied range of polling options. The system is also self-locking: ensuring the workpiece remains clamped even in the case of power failure.
Bill Neal, Joint Managing Director of Roemheld (UK) said: “We launched the Roemheld vision of electric workholding at the last MACH, so it is exciting to be at MACH 2014 exhibiting the result of all the R&D and testing that has taken place since to bring this innovative product to market.“
